A Wonder of Songwriters intends to open the door to exquisite, vibrant learning, to the opportunity for songwriters to support each other, and to the discovery of what nurtures us and keeps us thriving as songwriters. We learned from years with our own songwriting group the importance and delight of singing and listening with others. We may write on our own, but we're in this creative thing together, folks.

 

A Wonder of Songwriters Festival is our annual gathering for songwriters filled with classes, camaraderie, and evening concerts. All writers are welcome—from those who have only dreamed of writing a song to those who have written plenty.

 

Classes in the art and craft of songwriting are led by seasoned songwriters who are also experienced songwriting instructors. Friday evening begins with a welcoming orientation, followed by a class session, and ends with a teachers' concert. Saturday offers three class sessions and a workshop session during which instructors workshop participants’ original songs. The festival provides a hardy, hearty snack smörgåsbord Friday evening, and communal lunch and dinner on Saturday.

The evening concerts are open to friends, family, and the public by donation.
